Subject: Ferlinghetti
Saw your piece on the Internet about Ferlinghetti. I was at Berkeley from 1963 to 65 and we listened to Ferlinghetti read his poems on an album we had that I think came out in 1960. I still am moved by his work. Perhaps it's nostalgia, but there is also some truth in his words that speaks to me still.

Ferlinghetti must be 100 years old by now, but he still touches us old hippies. His "Testimonial at a Dinner to Impeach President Eisenhower" was an inspiration for many of us. To try to get out ... in time.
