I don't know where first saw it but I memorized it. just now tried to search for it to see who wrote it, the "little elegy" --- skipping rope.

something so haunting about it. I read it as a kid and never forgot it.

Subject: Similar to ringtail cat

I live in the Sierra Nevada foothills and have been seeing a lot of what appears to be similar to, but not a ringtail. Nocturnal, similar in color to a mt. lion, small around with a tail as long as body. Tail is same color as body w/ no stripes, only a dark tip. Could you please help ID? or direct me to online resource? Thank you.
